1 John 2:16-17 KJVS
[16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We often find pleasure in the natural and physical things of this world. We begin to think it’s ok to love things in the world. We spend time doing everything except God’s will. In this word we see that everything in this world will pass away. This includes the things we make money from, the things we physically benefit from and even the people we choose to be with. We sometimes even fall in love with our gift, but won’t use it for the one who gave us the gift. If we love God, and do his will, we gain FOREVER. What good will being involved in the worldly things bring us, if it costs us a death date? Brothers and sisters I encourage you to fall in love with Jesus, get your forever!
